Grace Byrnes graduated from Latrobe University in 2011 and since then has enjoyed working in multiple private practices in Melbourne, Geelong, Surfcoast and the Bellarine. She has experience in treating a variety of conditions from nail and wound care to biomechanical injuries and gait analysis.
Grace has a particular interest in sporting injuries and enjoys keeping people of all sporting abilities healthy and active daily.
Grace enjoys a hands on approach and has done additional study to be able to offer dry needling, foot mobilization and manipulation and running technique as part of her podiatry treatments.
After representing Australia in open springboard and platform diving Grace now enjoys a variety of outdoor sports including, running, surfing, cycling and swimming.
Grace is an active member of the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and Sports Medicine Australia. She is also a proud sponsor of the Royal Geelong Yacht club and Torquay RACV.
Outside of podiatry Grace enjoys getting outdoors to the beach or weekend camping getaways. Grace also loves good food and wine and the company of her family and friends.
Fun facts about Grace:
Grace loves treating runners and has done extra study in run re-training and injury rehabilitation in runners.
Grace has 3 brothers but was the only one in her family to play aussie rules football.
She works casually at a winery to support her red wine addiction.
