Tom McLeod has BHSc Clinical Myotherapist and Diploma in Bowen Therapist with 15 years of experience in the soft tissue industry. He has a special interest in the rehabilitation and treatment of sports injuries. Tom has taught Myotherapy at the Gordon and has continued teaching professional development courses.
Special interests
- Ankle and knee injuries such as ligament tears and strains

Tom is a passionate sportsperson who loves to keep fit and be involved in sporting clubs. He has previously supported the following sporting teams and clubs to overcome and prevent some of the above injuries, giving him sound knowledge in the field:
- Melbourne Victory football club
- Leopold football and netball club
- Scottish Commonwealth Games team
- Barwon and Breakwater Soccer Club.
Tom also uses the Bowen Technique which is a gentler technique that can be used to treat acute and chronic conditions such as frozen shoulder, lumbar disc injury, chronic fatigue, and TMJ pain and headache, on the very young to the very old.
Chronic pain is often difficult to treat Tom uses a multi-facet approach to educate and rehabilitate the client to return them for full functionality. Combining his knowledge from the two techniques gives Tom a road and dynamic approach to treat and facilitate healing.

Angela Byrt has been heavily involved in Athletics for many years and has seen the brilliant results health practitioners can achieve in helping aid recovery, through rehab or preventing injuries.
She sought a career in the health field after having had personal success with Myotherapy. She believed this would be a great way to help others get their best results possible. Since becoming a Myotherapist in 2008 she’s learnt a lot about muscular and myofascial pain. This is the basis of many of her treatments.
Ange’s areas of special interest include:
- rehabilitation of lower limb tendinopathy
- office worker shoulders
- dry needling
Angela is very passionate about her job. Being able to help clients with pain is one of the aspects of her job that she loves. Helping them to get up from treatments and being able to walk pain free, or coming back after one treatment amazed that the pain they have been putting up with for years has significantly reduced or gone, is why she does what she does.

Ange is a first born twin.
Ange is an established runner, and has even competed with the Australian Relay team.
She also lays claim to being the National Monopoly champion.
Tim holds a BHSc in Myotherapy and has practiced since 1997. In that time he has helped thousands of people resolve thier pain and resume an active lifestyle.
Tim has a special interest in Headache and TMJ (Jaw) pain presentations. He has completed hundreds of hours of additional training in these areas and, as well as working clinically, he delivers training to other health professionals nationally and internationally in effective treatment strategies for head and jaw pain.
Tim also regularly trains therapists nationally and internationally through workshops and online, in the skills that have proven so effective for his patients over the years. Tim lives with his wife and 2 teenage children on the Bellarine and loves to fish!
Marcus Janetzki is a Myotherapist and Remedial Massage Therapist with over 15 years of experience working in the soft tissue industry.
He achieved a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy from the Australian College of Massage and Natural Therapies in 2004. After working in clinics and corporate treatment environments in Melbourne, he moved to Geelong in 2007. Here he went on to further his study, completing a Bowen Therapy Certificate IV course through Bowtech in 2009, and an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy in 2010.
Through Myotherapy, Marcus found a revelation in what could be achieved through muscle manipulation and has helped many clients with chronic pain that they had thought could not be rectified. Issues such as:

Marcus strives to help his patients find a comfortable and calming balance of stress-relief, pain management and relaxation through his knowledge of Massage and Bowen Therapy. Bowen therapy is a gentle form of muscle manipulation which can assist with many underlying issues that may not seem muscle related.
Marcus is extremely passionate about helping his patients and excited by the future prospects of working as a Myotherapist. He has personally worked with many companies in the Barwon region such as CSIRO, Kaisercraft, VISY, Deakin University, Torquay College and Newtown Primary School. He enjoys helping the staff to better their wellbeing and promote postural awareness within the workplace.

Pam is an experienced Naturopath who brings a wealth of passion and dedication. Her high level of motivation is backed with broad life experience and sincerity.
Having grown up in rural Victoria where local medical services were limited, Pam learnt the value of natural remedies and the many benefits of home-grown foods prepared fresh for optimal health throughout life. Pam adapted these natural health philosophies raising her own family further enhancing these ideals and practices, leading to the completion of Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) degree. Pam continues to build upon her quest for individuals and families to learn about traditional natural medicine through fresh foods and healthy lifestyle habits using a common-sense approach to health and wellness, whilst integrating and adapting modern techniques and newly researched discoveries to improve health and quality of life at every stage of life.
Aligned with the core principles of Naturopathy, Pam adapts a holistic individualized, non-judgmental treatment approach facilitating the body’s innate ability to heal itself given adequate support, using one or a combination of strategies including dietary recommendations, herbal remedies, and nutritional supplementation where required to restore balance when nutritional deficiencies are present.
Pam is a strong believer in providing the body with the greatest assistance to heal and acknowledges the benefits of body work in achieving stress and pain reduction, increased lymphatic flow and circulation and optimized organ function as major components to facilitating favourable outcomes. Pam prefers to keep the treatment plans simple, empowering and educating and supporting the client, avoiding overwhelm and despondency.
She acknowledges healthcare can often require a team approach and is happy to work with other healthcare professionals to get the best possible outcome for the client. She holds full current industry association accreditation with ANTA, ANPA and MMA and offers medical rebate claiming facilities at the point of service.

Nick is an Osteopath and Ergonomic Consultant, completing his five-year Masters of Osteopathy at Victoria University in Melbourne. During his training, Nick completed multiple international placements, in both India and the UK. He trained under orthopaedic surgeons whilst spending a month at an orthopaedic hospital in Mumbai, India, where he gained an incredible insight into knee and shoulder surgeries.
Nick previously worked as a sports trainer for Richmond Centrals Football Club in Melbourne, where he spent four years as their head trainer assessing and managing a variety of acute sporting injuries. With this experience, he often utilises strapping techniques and dry needling with the management of various injuries in sports such as football, netball, basketball and soccer.
Nick moved back to Geelong in 2016. He recently completed his Certificate IV and Diploma in Work Health and Safety, an area he has developed a keen interest in. Nick regularly treats clients with postural related issues such as neck, shoulder and lower back pain and headaches. He believes by changing and modifying our workplace posture & ergonomics, we may help reduce the incidence of common workplace strains & sprains.
Nick utilises a combination of hands on osteopathic techniques, dry needling and injury management advice to help his clients achieve their treatment goals and return to optimal health.

Jessica has more than 10 years experience in the soft tissue industry, having graduated from RMIT in 2007 with an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy. Over the years Jessica has worked in both a clinical setting as well as with elite sporting clubs including Essendon FC (AFL), Werribee FC (VFL), and Western Jets (TAC Cup). She has spent a number of years living, working and travelling overseas. During that time she spent two winter seasons working as a Myotherapist in a Canadian Ski resort where she worked alongside the Australian Paralympic Team and dealt with numerous ski related injuries. Her areas of special interest include
- Shoulder dysfunction
- Lower back pain
- Neck tension and headache
Jessica finds satisfaction in treating sporting related injuries, as well as easing symptoms related to postural imbalances and office work. She is a caring practitioner who utilises a number of soft tissue techniques, dry needling, and rehabilitation exercises to aid in her clients return to optimal health. Yao has been a manual therapist for over fifteen years, she also has over five years of academic experience as a remedial massage/myotherapy teacher. Yao is a degree qualified myotherapist, and a certified Anatomy Trains structural integration practitioner. Her treatment combines advanced myofascia manipulation, joint mobilisation, movement education, dry needling and cupping. She believes the human body needs grounded support, adaptability and resilience to truly become our ally, and she is passionate to help her client to reduce pain, restore mobility, develop strength and achieve optimal allgnment and movement performance.
Yao’s areas of special interest include:

• Back and spinal discomfort and pain
Outside of her work, Yao loves watching Kung Fu movies and searching for different forms of martial arts. She has over 20 years of multi martial arts training, include in Taekwondo, Kick Boxing, Practical Wing Chun and Aikido.
